The concept of Pakistan as an under develop uneducated and rigid
country with lot of terrorism is absolutely wrong. A survey showed that Pakistan has the 27th
position of Internet users in the world.

Software development is a fast growing industry of Pakistan
and many of Government departments also fully computerized like NADRA (National
Data Base Regulation Authority) which issues National ID card passport etc.
Pakistan is developing new image by adopting the standards of IT like CMMI and ISO.
Locally made software are using in supermarkets hospitals
schools and in hospitals. For international clients Pakistan is also a very
good place as high talent is avail at very reasonable cost. Many International
companies have their off shore offices in Pakistan and get maximum results. I.T
parks and I.T villages are promoted by the Government of Pakistan not in ordinary
manner but with an aim to meet the international
standards of I.T.
